Our nursing services are covered by health insurance under the KVG – for your basic insurance it makes no difference which Spitex you choose. You decide.

What does Spitex cost in the canton of Zug?

In the canton of Zug, Spitex funding is regulated in the same way for private and public organisations:

• Health insurance: Basic and medical nursing care under the KVG are paid for by basic insurance when prescribed by a doctor. Your deductible (Franchise) and co-payment apply.
• Patient contribution: By law, a maximum of 20 percent of the highest care contribution, i.e. no more than CHF 15.35 per day, may be charged. The remaining costs are covered by the public sector.
• Housekeeping and companionship: are not KVG services and are billed privately. Supplementary insurance and the AHV/IV helplessness allowance can be used for this.
