Protecting your privacy is of particular importance to us—especially as a Spitex service provider that works with sensitive health data. We process your personal data exclusively in accordance with legal provisions, in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and—where applicable—the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In addition, the relevant provisions of the Health Insurance Act (KVG) and the professional duty of confidentiality for healthcare personnel (Art. 321 StGB) apply.
In this privacy policy, we inform you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data on our website www.floravita.ch.
Principle 2: No Collection of Personal Data for Tracking Purposes
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data on this website for tracking, analysis, or advertising purposes. We do not use any tracking tools, analytics software (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or Facebook Pixel), or advertising cookies.
Data processing occurs exclusively when you actively contact us (e.g., via email, phone, contact form, or application form) or when you expressly consent to the integration of external content (e.g., Google Maps, see Section 8).
3. Hosting in Switzerland
This website is hosted on servers in Switzerland. No data is transferred to servers abroad. Consequently, all technical data generated in connection with the operation of the website is subject exclusively to Swiss data protection legislation.

4. Server Log Files
For technical reasons, particularly to ensure secure and stable operation, our hosting provider may automatically collect information that your browser transmits to the server (so-called server log files). This may include:

This data is not combined with other data sources and is used exclusively for technical security and stability. It is deleted after a short period of time.
5. Fonts (locally embedded)
The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server and are loaded directly from there. No connection is made to servers operated by Google Fonts or other external font providers. In this context, no data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set.

We donot use tracking or marketing cookies. The following categories of cookies are used on our website:

These are required for the operation of the website (e.g., storing your cookie preference or language setting). They do not contain any personal data for tracking purposes and are set without consent.

Purpose of processing: Processing your inquiry and any follow-up communication, e.g., to schedule an initial consultation or to clarify your care or support needs.
Legal basis: Your consent by actively submitting the form, as well as our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (Art. 31(1) revDSG and Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).
Note on health data: Please do not submit any sensitive health data via the contact form. Detailed health information should only be provided during a personal consultation or via secure channels.
Retention period: The data you provide will be retained only for as long as necessary to process your request and will be deleted thereafter, provided there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.
Disclosure to third parties: No data is disclosed to third parties.
8. Google Maps
On this website, we integrate maps from the Google Maps service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to show you our location and make it easier for you to find us.
Google Maps is only loaded after you have given your consent via our cookie notice. If you agree to the integration, a connection to Google’s servers is established and functional cookies are set. In particular, the following data may be transmitted to Google:
- IP address
- Browser type and operating system
- Page accessed (referrer)
- Location data, if applicable, provided you have enabled this in your browser
This may result in your data being transferred to the U.S. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have no influence over further processing by Google.

9. Open Application Form
On our website, you can apply to us using an unsolicited application form (e.g., as a nurse, nursing assistant, housekeeping staff, or administrative staff). When using this form, the following data is processed:
- Last name, first name
- Address
- Email address, phone number
- Information regarding education, professional experience, qualifications, diplomas, and professional licenses
- Uploaded documents (e.g., resume, cover letter, employment references, diplomas)
- Additional information provided voluntarily
Purpose of processing: Reviewing your application, handling the application process, and contacting you regarding potential employment.
Legal basis: Your consent by actively submitting the application (Art. 31(1) revDSG or Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR as well as Art. 88 GDPR in the employment context).
Retention period:
- If you are not hired, your application documents will be deleted no later than 6 months after the conclusion of the application process, unless you have expressly consented to longer retention (e.g., for future positions).
- If you are hired, the documents will be transferred to your personnel file and retained in accordance with the retention periods under labor law and applicable statutes.
Disclosure to third parties: Your application data will be disclosed exclusively internally to the persons responsible for the application process. It will not be disclosed to external third parties.
Confidentiality: Application data is treated as strictly confidential and is accessible only to authorized personnel.
10. Nursing and Care Services (Spitex)
As part of our Spitex activities, we process personal data requiring special protection within the meaning of Art. 5(c) revDSG (in particular health data). This data is collected outside the website as part of our service provision and processed in our internal systems.
The data collected may include, in particular:
- Personal details (name, address, date of birth, AHV number)
- Insurance data (health insurance provider, insurance number)
- Health data (diagnoses, medication, care needs, medical history, care progression)
- Information regarding relatives, primary care physician, and other involved professionals
Purpose of processing: Provision of the agreed-upon care and support services, billing health insurance companies and cost bearers, fulfillment of legal documentation requirements.
Legal basis: Contract performance, legal obligations (in particular the KVG, KLV, and cantonal Spitex regulations), as well as your explicit consent for data requiring special protection.
Confidentiality: All of our employees are subject to professional confidentiality pursuant to Art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code (StGB) as well as internal confidentiality obligations.
Data Disclosure: Your data will only be disclosed to the extent required by law or with your consent—in particular to:
- Health insurance companies and other payers for billing purposes
- Attending physicians and other specialists, to the extent necessary for care
- Authorities, to the extent required by law
Retention: Care documentation is retained in accordance with statutory retention periods (generally for at least 10 years after the completion of treatment).
11. Your Rights
Under the revDSG and—where applicable—the GDPR, you have the following rights in particular:
- Right to access the stored data concerning you
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure of your data (provided that no legal retention obligations preclude this)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
- Right to withdraw consent
